Since our early days, we have made a tradition of giving away FREE Canada flags on Canada Day at all of our locations without any purchase necessary.
It’s been our way of spreading smiles and giving thanks to the country Lazeez Shawarma has grown exponentially in. This Canada Day 2020 was one for the books! We gave away 9000 flags to amazing community members all throughout the day. We also had the honourable J Robert Walsh, Minister of Veteran Affairs, giving away Canadian Flags at one of our locations. All this was accomplished while maintaining a safe 6 feet distance from everyone and following the health guidelines.
We are very excited for the future and to continue growing this Canada Day tradition in unique and exciting ways!
